Consumer Price Index (CPI) is the index measures the group price changing on goods and service need, such as food, energy, transportation, property, education, and health. It is also known as a cost of living.
Function of Consumer Price Index in Learning Forex Trading System
It is important to inspect the CPI changing, especially on food and energy. These two are called as CPI core. CPI shows stability. The CPI changing usually shows the changing of inflation trend. The inflation pressure will increase if the CPI cores are bigger than the expectation.
